Peter Pan - Michael and John (spoken parts) auditions (10 - 17yrs)
SDA - Ossian's Shed
Peter Pan – Stuart Morrison Productions | An Lanntair 2027 We are looking for confident young performers aged 10–16 to audition for the roles of Michael and John in Peter Pan. Both characters are written as male roles, but girls are very welcome to audition for either part. We are looking …morefor performers who can bring personality, character and energy to these roles — you don't have to fit a particular "type" to audition. The Audition The audition will focus primarily on acting and spoken performance. We will be looking for: Confidence and clarity when speaking Acting and characterisation Ability to learn and remember lines Expression and personality Ability to respond and interact with other performers Enthusiasm and commitment There is no need to prepare anything in advance. Lines will be provided as part of the audition process. You do not need previous acting experience to audition. We are looking for performers who show potential, confidence and enthusiasm as well as the ability to learn and perform spoken material. Rehearsals The rehearsal schedule is still being finalised, but rehearsals for these roles are likely to take place on Saturday afternoons, with some additional rehearsals potentially required as the show approaches. Because Michael and John have spoken parts, there may be some additional rehearsals specifically for these performers to work on lines and scenes. The final rehearsal schedule will be confirmed as soon as possible. Attendance at rehearsals will be compulsory, and priority will be given to performers who are able to commit to the full schedule. What we're looking for Michael and John are important characters in the story, so we're looking for young performers who are confident, expressive and willing to really get into character. Most importantly, we want to see personality, enthusiasm and a love of performing. Don't worry about getting everything perfect — we want to see what you can bring to the role! less
